Hace unos días nos visitaron los Paez Puente. Estuvieron con nosotros 4 días y nos la pasamos paseando a pesar de contratiempos con el carro que parece ya esta en las últimas, pero esa es otra historia.


A few days ago, the family Paez Puente visited us. They stayed with us for 4 whole days and we went with them to lots of places. Even though we were having some "issues" with our car, but that's another story.


El primer día que llegaron Carmen tenía que ir a la escuela y yo tenía que trabajar, así que se fueron ellos solos al zoológico con Isabel, quien desde ahí adoptú a Elena como su hermana y al Paez y la Vero como sus papás. Estaba decidida a irse con ellos al DF y si por ella fuera, se hubiera ido.


The first day they were with us, Carmen had to go to school and I had to work, so they went by themselves to the zoo and took Isabel along. From that day on, she adopted Elena as her sister and would call Elena's parents mom and dad. She really wanted to go to live with them to Mexico City.


El fin de semana, fuimos con ellos al Parque de la Marimba y al Cañon del Sumidero. Un día paseamos en lancha y otro día fuimos a los miradores. Es un paseo verdaderamente espectacular. La próxima vez a ver si vamos al parque ecoturístico del Cañón.


On the weekend, we went to the Marimba Park, and to the Sumidero Canyon. One day we took the boat ride and the day after we went to vantage points by car. It truly is a spectacular experience. Next time we'll try to go to the Ecological Park.


También fuimos a San Cristobal, un pueblo mágico al que vamos cada que podemos.
