Cumpleaños de Isabel/ Isabel's birthday

El domigo pasado le hicimos a Isabel su fiesta de cumpleaños en casa de sus yayos. Nos esperamos a celebrarselo acá en La Paz porque Isabel ya estaba entusiasmada con la idea de una piñata de Dora la exploradora y pues en Morelia ninguno de nuestros posibles invitados iba a poder asistir. Pero valió la pena la espera, aún con el calorón que hace por acá (el pastel llegó todo derretido y eso que no era de helado).

Last Sunday we had Isabel's birthday party at her grandparent's house. We waited to celebrate her birthday here in La Paz because the few kids that we were planning to invite were not going to be able to atttend and Isabel was already looking forward to have a pinhata. So at home in Morelia we had a small birthday cake and here in La Paz we threw a big party. Even though it was extremely hot that day (the cake melted and it was not an ice-cream cake), the kids had fun.
